1 pound honey and nut preserves
3/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
1 teaspoon orange juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup finely chopped green onions
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
In a medium bowl, mix honey and nut preserves.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add brown sugar and vanilla. To the pan, add evaporated milk; add orange juice, orange and vanilla. Cook over medium heat for 1 minute.
Stir in flour and brown sugar mixture. Bring mixture to a simmer over low heat for 2 minutes. Stirring constantly, bring mixture to a boil. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in pineapple and pineapple juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Pour into serving bowls and serve.
