3/4 cup vegetable oil for frying
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons blue cheese
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium high heat. Add whole wheat flour and baking powder; fry about 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in milk, egg, molasses, blue cheese and vanilla yeast. Pour into a large bowl.
Fry in oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Drain grease. Refrigerate dough.
