3 eggs
1 (18.25 ounce) can evaporated milk
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 cup butter
1 cup chopped pecans
1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a small mixing bowl, beat eggs slightly until frothy. Stir in water and sugar; beat until smooth. Pour mixture into pie crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes. Cool completely. Cool pie completely before cutting into squares.
Good basics. I did enough experimenting and found that I omitted the dill and rosemary because I did not have either ingredient. Since I did not have either ingredient, I left it out--scrumptious without!
Good flavor. I used unsalted butter, canned green beans, diced carrots, and green peas. Followed the recommendation of 3, 4, and 5 Star Hawaiian Beef Jerky Recipe. (This actually was more like 5 Stars French Vanilla Ice Cream - I used Christopher Williams molasses). Moist and flavorful.
