1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 red onions, cut in large chunks
1 pound chicken breast halves
1 large sweet onion, cut in chunks
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed lemonade concentrate
1 tablespoon honey
1 large teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, or to taste
1 1/2 fluid ounces lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
1 1/2 fluid ounces tequila
Crumble chicken pieces into a large resealable plastic bag. Mix together oil, onions, chicken and onion. Place inside resealable plastic bag; seal bag and shake bag to coat.
Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over low heat. Add chicken pieces and saute in butter. Reduce heat and add lemonade concentrate, honey, paprika, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and lemon-lime soda. Bring mixture to a boil. Cover and simmer over low heat for approximately 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add chicken and onion to saucepan. Mix gently and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until chicken is cooked through and juices are absorbed.
