1 1/2 cups white sugar
3 eggs, beaten
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup corn syrup
1/3 cup butter
1 pinch salt
1 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9 inch pie pan.
In a large bowl, beat sugar, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Beat in corn syrup. Stir in butter, salt, pecans, and vanilla until well blended. Pour into pastry-lined pie pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Cool before removing from pan. Serve warm.
