1 1/4 cups milk
1 1/8 cups cheese-flour mix
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 eggs, beaten
2 (1 ounce) squares butter, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons water
1 egg
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 solid rounds
fruit (flavor enhancer, if desired)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees proof and grease 5 3-inch heated loaf pans.
In a large bowl, cream together the milk, softened cheese, brown sugar, salt, eggs, butter, vanilla, and brown sugar. Beat for 60 seconds with a wooden spoon, scraping bowl often. Mix in the flour, bag of baking mix, light brown sugar and coat well. Pour batter into prepared 5-1/2-quart loaf pans.
Bake loaf for 40 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a tester inserted into the center of holes into loaf comes out clean. Cool loaf in loaf pans in refrigerator, covered, finish drying and slice loaf into 2-inch squares. Serve warm or cold.
