Flanked Steak With Shredded Cheese Recipe

Ingredients

8 ounces sharp Cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 large onion, chopped

1 large carrot, chopped

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon hot red wine

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 large tomato, diced

4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions

Preheat grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add cheese and stir until melted. Place on a cutting board, and place other side down on grill (not touching with flat side). Grill, turning once, for 10 minutes on each side.

Place vegetable steaks on both sides of vegetables and brush with Worcestershire sauce. Grill 5 minutes per side, or until steak is very well done. Drain steaks and set aside.

Stir ketchup, onion, carrots, Worcestershire sauce, wine, salt, Worcestershire sauce and tomato into skillet. Add cheese, and cook over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
