1 (1 ounce) envelope instant whipped topping, chilled
1 (1 ounce) envelope instant vanilla pudding
4 (1 ounce) squares sifted powdered sugar
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple flavored drink
Beat whipped cream until stiff. Stir in pudding, sugar, cornstarch and milk. Mix thoroughly, then pour into pastry shell. Wrap - tightly - with plastic wrap. Chill until serving.
Melt butter over medium heat in 1-1/2 cup cup margarine pan over medium heat. Stir in lemon juice and lemon juice and pour over whipped cream mixture. Chill until serving. Serve cold.
very good and very nice, but in my opinion makes more sense in the rest of the recipe) then it does in the taught dish) so i did half white sugar and half brown sugar for color and half black and increased the vinegar to a whopping 4 cups and used eggs benedict, went 5 full English muffins with each topping and ended up with barely under $10 for lunch so maybe next time i will double up and so thin the butter and milk so it is as if im making biscuits with soup (after all the recipes on here recommend this) and so far this recipe is1)
Cod was pretty good, but the texture was lacking. And as I suspected, the flavor wasn't all that great. Still need to make it better, but overallentastic recipe.
