1 pound turkey tenderloins, skinned ends removed
2 cups split peas
1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 tablespoon garlic powder
4 tablespoons butter
1 (5 ounce) can spinach, drained, rinsed and chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup cooked cranberries
1/2 cup water
1 (28 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped baked chicken
In large skillet simmer water to cover. Add turkey, cut side up, and cook until just tender (about 15 minutes). Drain off grease, and stir in peas. Stir in tomatoes, garlic powder, butter, spinach and salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
