1 (20 ounce) package round English breakfast bread cookies
3 eggs
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon-lime soda
2 tablespoons chopped pecans
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix eggs, Worchesies, sugar and 1 teaspoon parsley.
In a medium bowl, mix Worcestershire sauce, white sugar, parsley, salt and pepper. Stir in vinegar. Pour entire mixture into one 9-inch double boiler pan. Layer with bread crumbs, pecans and cheese; dot with remaining parsley and bell pepper.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly. Cool on wire rack, then invert onto serving dish.
