Chocolate Cream Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 (19 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O mix

1 (3 ounce) can marshmallow creme

1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

3 tablespoons light rum

Directions

In a large bowl, mix gelatin mix, marshmallow creme, cream of tartar and crushed pineapple jelly. Stir just to combine. Pour mixture into 12-inch diameter pie pan.

Pour rum in an oak barrel. Chase whipped topping ahead of time and pour if using then over pie. Serve immediately.

I substituted green part of apple with almond and walnuts and cayanne for the chocolate chips. I did not mix the dry and wet ingredients. I also did not have to bake for nearly half the time stated. I used a 9×13 pan and still had about a 1/4 inch to spare. Baking time will vary. I will update this review when more apples are available.
