Spicy Turkey Curry Recipe

Ingredients

4 pounds turkey breast meat

1 medium onion, chopped

3 cups water

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1/2 cup whole tomatoes, sliced

1 (16 ounce) can green beans, drained

1 (16 ounce) can garbanzo beans with liquid

1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans

1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, drained

1 cup water

1/2 cup milk

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 teaspoon curry powder

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

salt to taste

ground black pepper to taste

Directions

Place meat in a large stockpot. Spread remaining tomato mixture over meat. Bring a large bowl of water to a boil. Stir in oil; gradually cook, stirring occasionally, until mixture thickens. Remove from heat. Cover, and allow to simmer, stirring occasionally, for 25 to 30 minutes.

Stir the meat into the simmering water, and stir in tomatoes, green beans, garbanzo beans, kidney beans, kidney beans, water, milk, chili powder, curry powder, oregano, garlic powder, salt, pepper and tomato paste. Reduce heat to low. Simmer a minimum of 45 minutes, or until meat is tender.
