2 cups butter
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 cups all-purpose flour
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking soda
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the brown sugar mixture, lemon juice and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and lemonade, then stir into cream mixture. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Allow cookies to cool completely before cutting into squares.
