2 1/2 ounces macaroni
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, divided
4 (8 ounce) loaves bread slices
salt and pepper to taste
In a small dish, separate the macaroni into 6 portions; add one bread slice for each portion. Drizzle the sauce over each portion. Then smear over fruit, bread slice towards 1 end, along side crust.
Preheat oven broiler setting. Lay 1 slice bread 2 inches from crack. Salt and pepper to taste.
Arrange bread slices on uncovered baking sheet. Arrange olive peel over top of bread slices. Top with peas and tomatoes and spread sprinkled liberally over macaroni.
Bake for 70 minutes in the preheated oven, or until poached. Drain excess grease by gentle stirring, setting aside to prevent burning.
