BUTTERY DEGIERER Sliced Chocolate
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup chopped pecans
Beat butter in small bowl until well blended. Add sugar, peanut butter, egg, and vanilla extract; beat well. Spread peanut butter mixture on candy dough. Dust with confectioners' sugar. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 7 to 8 minutes in the preheated oven, or just until set. Cool completely. Cut into 1 inch squares or bars; remove from cookie sheet. Use as icing on pie, cupcakes, or cake decorations. Refrigerate leftovers.
