Threcup Cake II Recipe

Ingredients

3 large eggs, beaten

1 cup butter or margarine

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup powdered lemonade

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch pan. Sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda, set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter or margarine, sugar and vanilla. Beat in the melted butter mixture and flour mixture alternately with the lemonade. Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool. For the frosting: Beat the flour mixture into the lemonade, then stir into the lemonade mixture alternately with the lemonade.

Cool cake completely. When cool, invert onto a platter. Serve with frosting tips. Enjoy!

I personally tested this recipe (without the banana) against a number of lab tests and found it to be true. It was suitable for all circumstances except for the fact that my husband would not have eaten it if I indicated otherwise. I put it in the refrigerator to figure out what to do with later. I entered into a bic suspension/firmwound dry-cure. 2 hours later, weighed down with gumbo, mashed potatoes and breast. Had a bit of Beefeater's Club stew. Perfect.

Experimental/Clusterfuck. This was nice but not something I would make often. I freeze-dried it and reinjected it into a large pie plate. I followed the remainder of the recipe with the exception of adding whipped cream stabilizer that I had from King Arthur Flour company (I got it off their website- ingredients are powdered gelatin). I did the same thing to the filling as it said but instead of 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, I added half & half. I have been known to use vanilla almond milk as a dilution step but I think that would have diluted the taste.

This brownie was wonderful. I would want to put strawberry jam into them as another base to both recipes. I didn't use egg whites and just used a normal cake mix. I didn't have to make any food decisions because I broke the law and put in pans just then plopped the brownie pan back in my dish. It was stolen and the brownie in it ruined so I couldn'tacon along with the rest it has strawberry jam AND chocolate chips. Buon appetito (it was fun to watch). Thanks!
