1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
2 eggs
1 3/4 teaspoons lemon juice
3/4 cup fresh strawberries
2/3 cup chocolate candy-coated chocolate pieces, as desired
In a medium bowl, cream together milk and sugar. Stir in butter, vinegar and eggs and strain. Return strained mixture to refrigerator or freezer to make syrup and place remaining 2/3 cup of sugar in blender or food processor. Puree gently.
In medium bowl, combine chocolate pieces, 3/4 cup of syrup and sweetened chilled strawberries. Spread equal portions over bottom of a shaken glass filled with ice. Add 1 more 1/2 of the reserved syrup or berries with the reserved strawberry mixture. Chill 30 minutes, or until cup is just melting.
