7 pounds ground beef
2 (6 ounce) cans tomato puree
1 ounce chili sauce
2 (10.5 ounce) cans condensed tomato soup
3 tablespoons beef bouillon granules
3 tablespoons chili powder
4 teaspoons dried basil
4 teaspoons dried oregano
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
In a large saucepan, combine the beef, tomato puree, chili sauce, tomato soup, bouillon powder, chili powder, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 35 to 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
