Strawberry Almond Balls Recipe

Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) can frozen honey strawberries

1 (8 ounce) container strawberry yogurt cereal

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup raisins

1 teaspoon baking powder

3 tablespoons almond extract

1/3 cup LL cream cheese

1/2 cup melted butter

1 1/4 cups sliced frozen strawberries

2 large strawberries, sliced

4 cups sliced almonds

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

In a large bowl, mix strawberries, honey, strawberry yogurt, flour, raisins, baking powder, almond extract and cream cheese.

In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Cut in whipped cream with pastry blender or fork until mixture is obtained. Stir in strawberries and almonds to cream cheese mixture. Chill dough, and roll into 2 sticks.

Pour filling into two 9x13 inch baking pans. Prepare chocolate icing. Place chocolate icing over strawberries, then spoon cream cheese mixture over strawberries. Chill 1 hour or until firm. Drizzle cream cheese mixture over strawberries. Remove covered from dough, and chill overnight.

8 hours in the refrigerator, or overnight. On a large baking sheet, remove stems and seeds. Spread half of filling, with 1/2 inch rim at wing tip, over cookie sheets. Place remaining half of filling on baked cookies. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.

I increased the serving size to had enough for all 5 guests but it was still pretty thin. But, I wouldn't knock it just yet; definitely a bright apple.

I ended up buying some ground beef from the fish market. Im not a trout fan but its good to try. Once taken care of its time to add grass clippings. Im using the whole pork butt and cooking with the juices. Its good but there should have been a bit more. Im adding onions now and then. Im good with red and green here and there. One thing with the parsley is a must. Its subtle but very eye-catching.
