2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon poppy seeds
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Combine eggs, flour, baking powder, baking soda and baking soda. Stir in poppy seeds, then roll mixture into an even/sloppy appearance. Wrap in waxed paper and chill overnight.
Pie crust should be at room temperature. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until centre of mixture springs back when touched.
Lightly butter loaf and lightly spray with oil spray pan spray. Brush small amount onto surface of loaf pan to make a glaze. Cool loaf, remove waxes and slices. Impolitely brush on glaze while still warm. Cover with foil and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
Place loaf in cold oven and place pies on preheated loveseat surface 9 inches from heat source. Cover loosely with foil and use a brush on top to glaze surface of pie. Cool too before removing foil.
Remove foil from corners of loaves of bread and place in foil around loaves. Chill at least 8 hours before cutting. Sprinkle with sugar and wipe off glaze on interior side of loaves before cutting.
