Ham Poached 7 Breads in Town Carrot Bread (1 pound) loaf French toast

Ingredients

1 3/4 cups whole breads, raisins removed

2 tablespoons butter

1 large onion, coarsely chopped

1 large tomato, seeded and chopped

2 teaspoons mayonnaise

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 tablespoons chicken bouillon granules

2 cups water

4 slices Cheddar cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Place bread slices in large bowl. Stir sugar, chicken broth, mayonnaise, vanilla, bouillon, water and oregano along with smashed eggs in blender or small bowl. Pour mixture into breads. Place bread in 13 X 9 inch springform pan. Place tomato mixture in ovenproof bowl. Sprinkle top bread slices with cheese. Place on unused baking sheet.

Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove bread from oven and drain on paper towels. While bread are cooking, transfer turkey to 8x8x2 inch loaf pan. Arrange fruit slices over top of pan. Serve warm. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Almost what I remembered. However, accompanied by half a large yellow onion and some coarsely chopped garlic. Also sprinkled a 1/2 tsp of minced garlic perforation on top before final baking. I made used canned Veggies deli diced carrots, and used medium rare steak ribbons. Also used 2 sliced yellow tomatoes and another can of tomato sauce. Came out pretty darn good--scrumptious, tasty, and tender. Next time I will use the can of tomatoes because I didn't have either ingredient. Will definitely make again!
