1 1/2 cups distilled white vinegar
1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 teaspoons dried minced onion
1/8 teaspoon dried bay leaf
1 teaspoon mustard powder
In a medium saucepan, mix vinegar, oil, garlic powder, salt, and mayonnaise. Pour over hot dog, and toss to coats. Chill for approximately one hour in refrigerator.
Heat mayonnaise in a small bowl. Add juice from mayonnaise mixture to hot dog mixture; beat well. Let mixture cool in refrigerator.
Stir mustard powder and mayonnaise mixture into hot dog sauce. Pour over hot dog. Serve hot.
