1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
3 tablespoons whole milk
1 tablespoon white wine
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 onion, chopped
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 clove garlic, finely sliced
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream the butter or margarine with an electric mixer. Mix together sugar and salt. Beat in egg and milk; pour mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with wine and oil.
Bake 25 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool 10 minutes, then cut into pieces. Serve warm or cold.
