3/4 cup butter
1 medium head steak, pork sausage, chicken sausage
2 slices bacon
1 large onion, finely diced
1 (16 ounce) can pineapple with juice
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (225 degrees C).
Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium heat until evenly brown. Drain grease, leaving about 1/3 of the grease in the pan. Sprinkle with olive oil and butter. Slice steak across grain into 1/4 inch strips.
Place sausage in same skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain grease, leaving about 1/3 of the grease in the pan.
Add pineapple, onion, steak strips (detached, onions should reach meat, but meat will break fine without meat strips) and shredded cheese. Chill in refrigerator to 4 hours before serving.
