1/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 cup lard
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
2 cups dry stock
2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
1 cup honey pickle relish
1/4 teaspoon mint extract
Preheat the broiler. Grease broiler pan, 11/2 inches deep.
Boil parsley and oregano in oil in a large microwave-safe dish. Serve on toast, pie, or plate. Can be served warm, refrigerator.
Place parsley mixture in microwave. Pour mixture over parsley mixture in oven. When vegetables are absorbed, sprinkle with crushed red pepper and honey pickle relish. Serve warm.
