1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 cup strawberry preserves
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups milk
3 egg whites
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 (9 ounce) can sliced cherries with juice
In a saucepan, mix water, sugar, strawberry preserves, and vanilla extract. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and remove from heat. Stir in milk and egg whites. Pour mixture into a large glass punch bowl.
Add a portion of lemon juice into the raspberry preserves. Pour raspberry juice and lemon zest over all and mix together.
