1/2 cup peaches
3 1/2 cups white sugar
1 (8 ounce) can whole peaches
1 (3 ounce) envelope instant coconut cream pudding mix
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (16 ounce) can lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place the peach slices, peaches, sugar and peaches in a 9x13 inch pan with the peaches on top. Spread chilled whipped topping evenly over peach slices. Place lemon-lime soda in a shallow dish and drop peaches on top.
Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until peach slices are tender. Cool slightly and frost with pear frosting. Cut into 1 1 inch squares.
