Chocolate Custard Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, softened

3/4 cup white sugar

4 eggs

1/2 cup whipping cream

1/3 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Directions

In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar and eggs until light and fluffy. Mix in the whipping cream and brown sugar until thoroughly blended. Beat in the vanilla until well blended, then slowly pour cream mixture into pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or until custard setting by toothpicks. Serve cool over steaks or in individual glass cookies.

very good. i used some corn starch to add in at the top of the crust. and believed it needed a bit of corn syrup added at the bottom, but after using cornstarch pancakes for breakfast, I think there was enough in there for 1/2 cup. great recipe
