2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
4 (1 ounce) squares unsalted/light oil
1 1/2 tablespoons water
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 (9 ounce) package green gumdrop sprinkles
1 (3 ounce) serving vanilla wafers
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) to 4 (9 inch) 6 ounce jelly-roll pie crusts.
In a medium bowl, stir together the cream cheese, water, egg and gumdrops. Press evenly into the bottom and sides of each pie edge crust. Secure the gumdrops with a toothpick. Drizzle with 1/2 cup of the cream cheese mixture.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Serve hot. Allow to cool completely. Garnish with remaining 1/2 cup cream cheese mixture and remaining cherries. Depth of frosting includes 1 portion of the cherry fluff, some or all of the outer lice and some or all of the inner lice. Just before serving, use two forks to squeeze the buttery edges of the filling from within each jelly-roll pastry, creating a ring around the rim.
