1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon paprika
3 pounds boneless pork loin
1 (16 ounce) can tomato juice
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
Heat oil in a saucepan over high heat. Stir together 1 cup sugar and 3 tablespoons paprika; set aside.
Heat half of tomato juice in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in 1/4 cup soy sauce, brown sugar, onion, oil and bacon. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until thickened. Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in tomato sauce and cook until reduced by half, stirring constantly, until reduced by half.
