Chocolate Banana Cooler Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter

2 cups white sugar

1 egg

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups milk

3 bananas

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a saucepan, bring butter and sugar to a medium heat, then add egg, vanilla and milk. Mix until smooth, but pour into the pan as quickly as possible. Pour over white chocolate cake while still in the pan. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove from oven and frost with frosting where desired. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.

To make the frosting: In a small bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla.

To assemble the cake: Place 1/4 cup of chocolate frosting on each piece of cookie, leaving a 1-inch border. Roll them up with a damp kitchen towel and cut into 1/2 inch squares. Place on the serving dish. Frost the outside of the cooled cake. Cut into squares. Chill until serving time and serve with fruit and fruit preserves.
