1 tablespoon butter, softened
2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon dried basil
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
In a small bowl, mix together butter, sugar, egg, milk, basil and garlic. Mix together well and refrigerate.
Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Stirring occasionally, sprinkle on garlic powder, salt, onion and parsley. Heat gently for 5 to 6 minutes. Remove from heat. Let cool until thickened.
