1 cup peanuts
1 cup water
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup margarine
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Sift together the whole oats and peanut butter.
In a medium bowl, cream the margarine with an electric mixer until smooth. Beat in the water, baking soda and peanuts. Drop cookie by heaping tablespoonfuls evenly on the bottom of an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 11 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
