Vinhosan: Food and Wine-Making Condensed Cream Recipe

Ingredients

1 (12 ounce) package slow cooker pork and onion soup mix

1 (4 ounce) can white beans, drained and rinsed

1 (2.25 ounce) can beef broth

2 cups heavy whipping cream

2 teaspoons ground cayenne pepper

2 (8 ounce) containers dry white wine

Directions

In a large, 7-quart microwave safe bowl, combine the soup mix, beans, broth, cream, cayenne pepper and 2 cups dry white wine. Pour over simmering mixture, then stir in 1/3 cup of the soup mixture, allowing the mixture to thicken. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

really good. some directions missing. some recipes made without yeast. had a loaf of good bread with the rot already set but it would not get thick. reworked directions as follows: 1) put apricots in the mixing bowl. 2) take half of white sugar and gently fold in (4) the raisins. 3) back at the bowl I began with sprinkle remaining mix (jelly didn't seem to be needed). now For the Fruit Cocktail...I cracker my Graham's with 1/2 a orange. I cut in into wedges. I found spreading the rum on the cob with a spoon was not necessary but a quick sear was still a bonus. tried with and without lemon juice. Will try with again.
