Blonde French Toast I Recipe

Ingredients

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup applesauce

1 cup milk

2 tablespoons cider vinegar

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large bowl, mix eggs, vanilla extract, applesauce, milk, vinegar, salt, black pepper, baking powder, cinnamon. Stir well.

Spread mixture in bottom of 9x13 inch pan. Place apple slices over top of sauce. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and serve immediately.

I have been using this recipe for about a year and a half and today I decided to give it a second chance. I was afraid the sauce would be too runny so next time I will add salt, although I think that will be too little salt. I added garlic powder, onion powder, and canned dill pickle slices. I am hoping that wi ill percolate into the dish and make it better.
