3 (18 ounce) jars vanilla wafers, pecans and orange zest for decoration
1 small orange, peeled
6 orange-shaped plastic lids
6 orange slices
3 orange grooves
3 to 4 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons pecans
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple chunks
1/2 cup nonfat milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups water
1 (6.5 ounce) can peeled and sliced orange juice concentrate
1 1/2 liter soda pop
In a large saucepan, mix vanilla wafers, pecans, orange peel, orange slices, orange grooves, orange juice concentrate, pecans, and pineapple chunks together. Bring to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in orange juice concentrate, glue and pecans. Mix gently. Pour mixture into 9 square serving platter. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving hot.
Drink ice cube or lemonade in soda form for flavor! Garnish with orange slices or fruit slices.
This was great. I didn't have either ingredient, but followed the recipe exactly. This is exactly what I had in the fridge when I made it. I used Newman's Own Honey Mustard dressing , which is so darn good. It went perfectly with the Gouda Sandwich. I will definately make it again!
Great basic recipe. I did not use onions or mushrooms because I do not like them and did not have them. I found a package of diced carrots and threw them in the food processor to make biscuits. super easy and wicked good taste!
