I owned this during a hockey so why not a little more spice? Well, not enough in a 1/2 onion to begin with, but this mingle was too good to pass up. Other changes I made: added thyme for seasoning, and cut back on the mustard to 1 tsp. I found that my batter did not thicken up until I added 3/4 cup of flour to the mixture. So maybe next time I will add another cup of flour and see what happens. Thanks for sharing!

This was great. I didn't have either ingredient, but followed the recipe exactly. This is exactly what I had in the fridge when I made it. I used Newman's Own Honey Mustard dressing , which is so darn good. It went perfectly with the Gouda Sandwich. I will definately make it again!

Great basic recipe. I did not use onions or mushrooms because I do not like them and did not have them. I found a package of diced carrots and threw them in the food processor to make biscuits. super easy and wicked good taste!
