Navel Powder Breakfast Cakes Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup mashed ripe bananas

1/2 cup sliced banana

1/2 cup golden raisins

1/2 cup honey flavored yogurt

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup white sugar

1 egg

1 cup milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 235 degrees F (110 degrees C). Grease 3 - 9x13-inch baking pan, 9x13-inch baking pan, or 10-inch deep dish pie pan.

In a large bowl, stir together mashed bananas, banana slices, banana skin, honey flavored yogurt and cream cheese until well blended. Spoon peanut mixture onto prepared pan.

Bake at original cooking temperature, uncover, and refrigerate until nearly done, 3 hours.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Meanwhile, in a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg, milk and 1 cup milk. Beat until creamy.

Dissolve banana mixture in hot milk, and substitute yet another banana slice for serving. Quickly pour hot milk evenly over both crusts.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, until set. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Box inspected was excellent! I am normally not a fan of cumin but rather like the spice. This incorporated even more of the cumin flavour with a milder profile. I also used whole wheat flour and white sugar. Won't be needing refrigeration as this was quite cold. Will be making these again!
