Christmas White Sugar Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups butter

1 cup white sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup white sugar

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda lemon juice

2 1/2 cups chopped walnuts

1 cup chopped dates

1 cup chopped walnuts

2 cups butter, softened

2 1/2 cups blueberry pie filling

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and white sugar until smooth and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time then stir in the flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Mix in the flour mixture, blueberry filling, cherries, dates and walnuts. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the cookie sheets.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cookies are golden brown. Cool completely on wire rack.
