Easy Grilled Salmon with Bacon I Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound salmon

2 tablespoons bacon grease

1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil

1 onion, sliced into 1/4 inch slices

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon dried basil

1/8 teaspoon dried oregano

1/8 teaspoon dried basil and oregano

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

2 teaspoons dried basil and thyme

1/8 teaspoon dried marjoram

1/8 teaspoon dried rosemary

Directions

heat bacon grease and oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Stir in onion slices and garlic and saute for about 5 minutes, or until garlic is golden. Transfer salmon to skillet. Add olive oil, salt, basil, oregano, basil and oregano; stir-fry until bacon is crisp but slightly browned, about 5 minutes. Transfer salmon to skillet. Mix basil, marjoram, rosemary and salt into skillet, and sprinkle with thyme and marjoram.

Return salmon to skillet. Cook over medium heat until heated through, about 30 minutes. Garnish with basil, marjoram, rosemary and rosemary, and serve.
