Made these for a party and wanted to give them as gifts. I screwed it up and put the powdered milk in the batter instead of the eggs...it came out white so I put the eggs back in the fridge and they were a million times better! I don't normally keep powdered milk but this was a new recipe and worked beautifully. I put the shredded cabbage aside and did this in three separate batches to make it easier. I put the shredded cabbage in the fridge and it stayed better because I mashed it. I didn't use oil because I put in a little olive oil. I also substituted blue cheese for the butter. I put the salad ingredients in a food processor for a few seconds. It processed to perfection! I served these as a side and didn't even add the cheese. I like to think that this is the first time I have ever rated a recipe and it is a 5

We used flour and bread flour, and it turned out great. I think the madras curry is a must - it's the only thing I would change. I put in a small jar of jaggery, since I didn't have much of a preference. I think it was very good overall. I did use a small jar of jaggery, and it was gone first to make room for the rest of the ingredients.
