1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup crushed ice
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together the white sugar, brown sugar, flour, baking powder, white baking soda and salt until smooth. Beat in the egg, milk and cocoa. Mix together thoroughly, then pour into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Cool completely in pan. Cut into squares.
I followed the recipe exactly making no changes and these were amazing! My husband complained when they were all gone. My only warning would be to be careful when grilling, its easy to burn.
I signed up for this casually but was really nervous about the recipe. Little bit of testing revealed that homemade may not be 100% effective so I will admit it and try a little. It is jam-packed with vitamins A, D, E and K. At this dose, it is safe but cautious use.
