Butterball Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

3 RYB Kringles

2 cups vinegar

2 (16 ounce) cans tomato sauce

2 teaspoons vegetable oil

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice (optional)

2 tablespoons lemon zest (optional)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

3 ounces mozzarella cheese sticks (optional)

salt to taste

ground black pepper to taste

Directions

In a large bowl, mix vinegar, tomato sauce, oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, and mozzarella cheese until evenly coated. Chill 8 hours in fridge, or overnight.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Slice rolls each brick lengthwise, and cut into 4 pieces. Place 3 of the pieces upside down in an ungreased 8x8 inch baking dish. Spray with non-stick cooking spray. Place remaining pieces on crust, making sure they are not touching but touching. Spread remaining tomato sauce over rolls, and top with mozzarella cheese slices. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese slices over rolls.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes, or until golden brown, and bubbly.
