2 quarts butter, softened
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
3 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Bring 1 quart butter or oil to a boil in a medium saucepan. Stir in chicken breast halves, onion, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic salt. Let heat about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove chicken from marinade. Mix in salt and oil and thoroughly coat. Transfer chicken to a 9x13 inch baking dish (see Cooking Reference chart for stuffing).
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour or until chicken is cooked through and juices are skimpy.
