1 cup corn syrup
1 cup water
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
5 chicken thighs
1 (10 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables
2 cups Italian-style salad greens
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon dried basil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large saucepan, stir together corn syrup, water, vinegar, chicken pieces and vegetables. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils.
In a mixing bowl, mix together salad greens, cream cheese, dried basil and chicken mixture. Pour sauce over chicken pieces and toss to coat.
Cover sauce, and place chicken pieces in the very center of sauce. Pour over poultry and vegetables.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 to 15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
