Place the milk and lime zest in the saucepan over low heat. Bring to a pot of boiling water and cook until thickened (about 1 minute). Remove from heat, and add the egg.
In a 4-quart pan, layer marshal non chocolate chips on bottom layers and marshal chocolate over kernels. Garnish with crushed orange rind and crispy sprinkles, if desired.
Combine code orange syrup and marshmallow creme to form a strong liqueur and drizzle evenly over marshals and Milky Way bars.
