1 head green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 (10 ounce) cans diced pineapple chunks
4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 (8 ounce) package instant Italian-style pizza sauce
salt and pepper to taste
crushed red pepper flakes for garnish
Place green onions, mayonnaise and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl. Add garlic powder, pineapple chunks, lemon juice and pizza sauce. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add spinach, and cook for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in pineapple chunks and lemon juice. Garnish with salt and pepper.
