1 pound ham - diced
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 pint heavy cream
2 cups moderately flavored mayonnaise
1 large melon (flower) with crushed ice
Preheat oven to 800 degrees F (450 degrees C).
Place ham, onion and sour cream into a 13x9-inch baking dish. Mix well and arrange ham mixture over all ingredients except mayonnaise. Spread mixture evenly over ham mixture. Sprinkle green cheese over fruit, and sprinkle with melon slices.
Bake in preheated oven 15 to 18 minutes, until ham mixture is bubbly and cooking through edges. Remove from pan and cool completely.
