3 1/2 cups butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 cup cornflakes cereal
1 cup chopped pecans
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup chopped almonds
1 cup chopped pecans
2 cups flaked coconut
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Beat in eggs and cornflakes cereal. Mix in pecans and oats.
On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough out to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into 1 inch squares. Place cookies 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 15 to 18 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Cool completely on wire racks.
