5 tablespoons margarine, melted
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup chicory salt, divided
1 teaspoon orange zest while cooking
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
3 cups small biscuit wrappers
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 2 muffin cups or 12 squares roll-ups.
Melt margarine in a microwave-safe bowl or plastic bag. Heat butter and lemon juice in microwave on medium-high heat.
In a saucepan, combine margarine, orange juice, garlic powder and salt and pepper over medium heat. Bring to a boil; mix thoroughly.
Press biscuit wrapper around dough and roll them into 2 inch balls. Place wrappers on parchment. Seal so that edges do not leak.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 40 minutes or until biscuit crust is golden brown. Serve warm or cold.
