1/2 cup butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Stir together 1 cup butter or margarine and brown sugar until well blended. Mix 1/2 cup brown sugar with 1/2 cup white sugar and add eggs. Stir flour into mixture with milk.
Drop dough by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake an additional 8-10 minutes. Cool on cookie sheets for 3 to 5 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool completely. Cut into 1 inch wedge shapes using even rounds or slivers for windows and doors.
